Bamboo-zled - Custom Jinhao 100 B-Grade

Don't worry, it's totally understandable if you think there's a very tiny, stylized, unrealistic bamboo forest trapped in this pen.  Totally! 

This design was entirely hand painted meaning it's entirely unique and one of a kind. This is something quite different from what I usually make.  I was inspired by both Chinese ink painting as well as the graffiti I would see whenever I visited Chicago.  I loved taking the L (shortened from 'Elevated' transit) and seeing what new art I could find as the buildings rushed past.

This medium sized nib is unique in that it has a heartbeat slit down the middle rather than the usually vertical slit.  This doesn't affect use but adds a nice touch.

***NOTE: Due to some issues with sealing, there is some discoloration on the end of the body (as pictured).  I have lowered the price from what I would usually sell it for this reason.

Jinhao 100 pens are fantastic for beginners.  They come with a converter so that you can choose which bottled ink to use and refill it without worrying about adding more plastic waste to the landfill.  You can also use the converter to flush water through the pen to clean the feed and nib.  The nibs and feeds are friction fit which means it's easy to take apart and clean or even to swap out the nibs for different sizes! 

Jinhao 100 pens are a bit bigger than Jinhao 82s but this can make them more comfortable for those with wrist mobility issues such as carpel tunnel or arthritis.
